Hi friends,
Nomination for the 7th MSEcomm is still open, if you would like to serve your
fellow coursemates and earn some brownie points with your future employers,

People often ask why they should run for a position in the
committee and I wonder why not. Firstly, being in any committee, no
matter how miniscule, is always impressive. Just imagine how it would reflect
upon you if your resume stated that you served/represented your fellow
coursemates (all 4 levels). Secondly, the commitment is not as heavy as it
seems because the cohort is only so big and there are only a few major events
in a year. The other administrative work and small scale events will not take
up as much time and will be very enjoyable to execute, especially if the exco
is chummy and crappy lol. Lastly, if you like bootlicking your professors,
being the committee might help you get closer to them teehee.
So stop thinking it through already and fill up the form!
